Dhan Nirankar Ji..
Lord Jesus once saw a crowd surrounding a woman being abused in public. Upon enquiring, he was
informed that, “The woman has committed adultery. Punishment for such a crime, as per scriptures is to stone the sinner to death”. They asked Jesus, “Should we not stone her?” “Yes”, Jesus replied. The
crowd shouted with joy and raised their hands to throw stones. At this Jesus immediately said, “Wait!
He who has never sinned in his entire life is the first to stone her.” All the hands automatically went
down, and heads hung down in shame.
In childhood we all had heard about the story of 10 boys who went for a boat ride. While counting they used to count nine and were very disappointed that they had lost one of their friends. This was because they were always forgot to count their own self.
The above examples show that we always blame others and point fingers at others’ mistakes, but forget to check our own self. We should see our own self before blaming others. Babaji once said:
“Tapsra jab auron pe jab kijiye, Pehle aina saamne rakh lijiye”
When we point a finger at others, there are three fingers pointing back at us. We all are living in glass houses. So before commenting on others, we should remember that, “Those who live in a glass house, do not throw stones at others.” Jesus has said, “Condemn not and you shall not be condemned. Judge not and you shall not be judged.” It is the law of nature ‐ what we give; we receive the same in return. What we sow, so we reap. As per Newton’s third law of motion, ‘For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction.” Jesus also said, “Do unto others that you want others to do unto you.”
The above quotations tells us that we should see good, speak good and do good to others so as to get
the same result in return. Just as God forgives & forgets our mistakes & sins, we too should do same to others. When we do this, we become eligible to receive His mercy.
