To achieve anything in life, man must sometimes give up something, even his own sanity,

To keep religion established, adopt the path of humanity.

Religion involves believing in and worshipping God while doing what is morally right,

And never giving up, no matter how hard the fight.

Whether you are a Hindu, Sikh, Muslim or Christian, live like a true human first,

And know yourself by quenching the spirit's thirst.

The path of humanity involves being aware that we are all part of the same spirit,

Only then are we worthy of any special merit.


Today, we are worse than animals,

Back-stabbing and eating one another like hungry cannibals.

Religion can remain established through self-realization,

Which is possible only after God-realization.

The more we remember this all-pervading spirit and all other teachings of the True Master,

We will adopt the path of humanity much faster.


Sometimes I feel that the path of humanity is impossible to adopt because

I am not always in a spiritual mood,

But then the grace of God uplifts my soul by giving it its real food.

Baba Ji, please help us all to get rid of our insanity,

And to remember, "To keep religion established, adopt the path of humanity."
