Dhan Nirankar Ji...
Saints our mind is a factory of thoughts, ideas of others, the raw material and ourself, the production manager. Thoughts are the essence of the actions and the actions are the result of the thoughts. If a person thinks positively, his actions tend to be positive. However, actions performed under the influence of evil such as anger, greed, lust, jealousy, etc. will have an bad impact.
Thoughts emerge from the mind, which is a high-speed thinking machine. The machine if not properly handled, tends to skip tracks. Just as a CD player would, if we turn it upside down. As a result negative thoughts and uncontrolled actions would spring up.
But how can thoughts be controlled? There are many opinions about this. Some say, if a thought is suppressed at its peak, it can be controlled. But this is just a short-term solution, with terrible consequences, because a suppressed thought re-emerges and strikes back with tremendous force and becomes rather uncontrollable. So, suppression of thought is not controlling of thought. Then how to control or manage thoughts? The simplest way to control and manage a thought is to handle them rationally and with wisdom. Whenever a negative thought emerges, it should be channeled into some positive or creative activity. In other words, the mind should be diverted.
Positive thoughts and positive actions are like the credit balance in the Godly Account. In other words, positive thinking is the path to a noble and prominent life.
It is rightly said that thoughts determine one's attitude. A person absorbing positive thoughts will have a positive attitude towards life as also in his relationships with others.
In short, thoughts can be controlled and managed. For this one must always be on guard and manage the mind-generator, the source of thoughts. The mind- generator can be managed by being associated with the saints and devotees, remembering God and rendering selfless service for human improvement. Now is the time to start paying attention to our thoughts and our actions, today, and from now on. Our future depends upon the way you think. So think positively and act positively.
